Begin where you are
Your first Pilates class is not a test. It is an introduction to a new vocabulary of breath, alignment, and focused movement. Arrive curious, wear clothing you can move comfortably in, and tell your instructor about any injuries or concerns.
What to expect
A BloomHaus class begins with time to settle and connect to your breath. Your instructor will introduce the equipment, then guide you through a considered sequence that builds gradually.
The principles
Pilates rewards precision over speed. Think about moving with control, maintaining a steady breath, and choosing the version of each exercise that lets you stay connected.
After your class
You may notice muscles you have not felt in a while. Hydrate, take an easy walk, and give your body time to integrate the work. Consistency matters more than intensity.
